Peacefully at home following a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, Michael Mikicel of Brockville, age 65. Loving husband of Jeannie Mikicel (nee Reed). Stepfather of Cynthia Taylor (Jason), Robert Luke (Summer), Candice McGill (Anthony Dean) and Santiago De La Rosa, all of Florida. Brother-in-law of Sandy Johnston, Robert Reed and Rubbin Loos (Shannon), all of Florida. Michael will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Dylan, Haylie, Matthew, Clayton, Magge, Abbe and his great-grandson Dylan. He will be sadly missed by his parrots Squeak and Scooter. Predeceased by his parents Metro and Ann Mikicel (nee Birukow). Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 280 Ormond Street, Brockville, on Saturday, March 23rd at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon in the Church hall. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
