Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, on Thursday, May 23rd, 2019. John Phillips of Johnstown at the age of 85. Dear friend and companion of Doreen Workman. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Smith. Loving father of Michael of Redbridge, Janet (Harry) Mulder of Belleville, Chris (Sandy) of Prescott and Leslie Phillips (Phill) of Kingston. Predeceased by 2 brothers Ken and George and by 2 sisters Joan Morris and Gertrude Lyons. Sadly missed by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
A celebration of life will take place at the Johnstown United Church on Monday, May 27th at 11am followed by a reception in the hall. Donations to the Johnstown United Church or the Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Cardinal.
