The OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the Emergency Response Unit (ERT), executed a search warrant at a residence on Walter Street in Cardinal on Friday, June 14th, 2019.
Police seized what they describe as a "significant quantity" of controlled substances, suspected to be cocaine, crystal meth, methamphetamine tablets and marijuana, for the purpose of trafficking.
29-year-old Christopher Deline and 23-year-old Kyra Dumm, both from Cardinal, were arrested and charged with the following drug-related offences:
Possession of Schedule I Substance - Cocaine CDSA Section 4(1)
Possession of Schedule III Substance - CDSA Section 4(1)
Possession of Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of Trafficking - other drugs CDSA section 5(2)
Possession for the purpose of distributing CDSA Section 9(2)
Alter or offer to alter the chemical or physical properties of cannabis by use of an organic solvent
Possession of Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of Trafficking - other drugs CDSA section 5(2)
They were both arrested, and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on Friday, July 26th, 2019.
