Peacefully at home on Sunday, March 10, 2019, John Doesburg of Mariatown, age 68. Loving husband of Ruth Doesburg (nee Holliday) for 47 years. Loving father of Steven at home and Melanie McCourt (Andrew) of Morrisburg. Brother of Tina Doesburg of Iroquois. Opa will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Logan, Gabriel, Micah, Lily-Anna and Gracelyn. He was predeceased by his parents Symon and Clasina Doesburg (nee Vander Kruk), his son John Jr. and his sister Janny Doesburg. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Williamsburg, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Williamsburg Christian Reformed Church on Wednesday, March 13th at 11 a.m. Donations to Timothy Christian School or Dundas County Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
