You are cleared to land at Morrisburg Airport/Crysler Airstrip (CNS8)

The Morrisburg Airport (CNS8), also known as Crysler Park Airstrip—is an airport on the north side of County Road 2, adjacent to Upper Canada Village, 11 km east of Morrisburg, Ontario.

Operated by the St. Lawrence Parks Commission, this VFR airstrip is located right across the road from Upper Canada Village, and next to Upper Canada Golf Course. It is operated under public license from mid-April to October (there is no winter maintenance).

The Morrisburg Airport has a single 853 by 23 metre (2,800 by 75 feet) asphalt paved runway oriented northeast-southwest. The windstock is an alternating orange and white banded sock.

Cement blocks are located on the airfield apron that can be used to tie down the tail of your aircraft, and there's a cable running the length of the apron to tie-down the wings.

If you are flying in for a spring, summer or fall afternoon of golfing at Upper Canada Golf Course, their telephone number (613-543-2003) is located on a notice board at the west end of the airstrip. Give them a call during open hours, and they'll come pick you up.

There is no regular scheduled commercial air service to the Morrisburg Airport. The closest major airport is Ottawa International Airport (YOW).

The airport is unattended and has no facilities or resident aircraft. It's also closed in the winter months, and is only suitable for use during the day (there are no lights along the strip).

Please note there is no fence or security of any kind, and your plane will also be visible to vehicle traffic on County Road 2.

Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary is located near the airport—so be sure to keep an eye out for birds.

If you need help planning your trip, Upper Canada Village is happy to answer any questions you might have about any of the programs or services they offer.
