With the U.S. midterm elections this week, CBC News spoke with American voters of all stripes about the issues that matter to them and why they support the Republicans or Democrats. Scott Pooler is supporting the Republicans because he says U.S. President Donald Trump has helped the economy and boosted American pride; Shelley Howland is a long-time Republican who will vote for the Democrats because she's unhappy with Trump’s policies; Tom Vidovich was considering a Republican vote, but the party’s actions led him to support the Democrats in the midterms.
A 'house divided' appears to be what the United States is heading for in Tuesday's midterm elections, as the Democrats and Republicans look to set to split control of the two chambers of Congress.
