Threats and weapons charges after Victoria Park Crescent disturbance

On Tuesday, May 21st, 2019, at approximately 11:42 AM, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a disturbance on Victoria Park Crescent in Morrisburg.


The police investigation revealed that threats had been made against an adult male and the man's home had been damaged. A weapon was also located by officers.


47-year-old Richard Coville of Cardinal, Ontario was located by police, arrested and is charged with:

  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon

  • Uttering threats ( 2 counts)

  • Mischief

  • Intimidation - Intimidates or threatened to intimidate

He was released and is scheduled to a court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall June 18th, 2019.


Following this incident, it was reported that an adult female entered the same home unlawfully.


19-year-old Bayleigh Coville of South Dundas, Ontario was located by police, arrested and is charged with:

  • Unauthorized possession of a weapon

  • Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm

  • Unlawfully in Dwelling house

Both accused were released and scheduled to appear in court in Cornwall on June 18th, 2019.
