Significant snowfall is likely tonight into Tuesday.
A low pressure system from the Southern Plains States will bring accumulating snow to Eastern Ontario tonight and Tuesday.
Rain or a mix of rain and wet snow is expected to arrive near noon today. The precipitation will then turn over to snow tonight and continue Tuesday with near 10 cm of snow expected by Tuesday evening.
This snowfall may have an impact on the Tuesday morning commute to work. Motorists should be prepared for poor winter driving conditions as untreated roads may become snow covered and slippery.
