The first accumulating snowfall event of the season will continue this morning.
A low pressure system tracking northward over New England is close enough to Eastern and Central Ontario to bring measurable snow to the region. Several areas received 2 to 5 cm overnight and may see another 2 to 5 cm today. Highest snow amounts are expected to be over higher ground.
The precipitation will taper off this afternoon as the low pressure area moves away.
Motorists should be prepared for the first winter driving conditions of the season. Untreated roads may become covered in snow and slush, and become slippery as a result.
