South Dundas Fire & Emergency Services donates old gear to Firefighters Without Borders Canada

South Dundas Fire and Emergency Services (SDFES) has donated some old, out dated bunker gear, rubber boots and failed fire hose to "Firefighters Without Borders Canada".
43 bunker coats, 35 bunker pants, 20 pairs of rubber boots and 105 assorted sizes of fire hose were picked up November 1st, 2018.
SDFES still has some helmets, hose and uniforms that Firefighters Without Borders Canada will be picking up in the near future.
With help from a volunteer team and fire departments across Canada, Firefighters Without Borders Canada has been able to collect helmets, bunker gear, ladders, gas monitors, medical bags, boots and more from over 50 different fire departments. In total, the organization has collected equipment valued over $250,000.
