The SD&G OPP are investigating several incidents after responding to 184 calls for service from Friday, November 16th, 2018 to Monday, November 19th, 2018.
Among these occurrences, SD&G OPP responded to:
45 motor vehicle collisions
14 calls for police assistance
14 911 calls
15 traffic complaints
3 Traffic enforcement occurrences
3 RIDE programs
7 domestic disputes
6 thefts
2 mischief calls
3 sudden death investigations
2 suspicious activity calls
1 mental health call
1 animal complaint
1 family dispute
3 warrant calls
1 fraud complaint
On Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at approximately 3:38 a.m., SD&G OPP officers, with the assistance of the OPP Canine Unit and SD&G Crime Unit, responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Circle K convenience store located in the Iroquois Plaza.

On Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at approximately 4:27 a.m., an SD&G OPP officer intercepted an adult male during a traffic stop in South Dundas Township in contravention of previous release conditions. He was also in possession of methamphetamine.
