On Friday, May 10th, 2019, members of the SD&G OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Emergency Response Team (ERT), K9 Unit and Tactical rescue Unit (TRU) officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a property on William Street in North Glengarry Township. This resulted in the seizure of a number of drugs (crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, psilocybin, heroin, ecstasy, marijuana), weapons (crossbows, knives, pellet guns) and Canadian currency.
40-year-old Robin Rozon of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
Possession of a controlled substance for purpose of trafficking (3 counts)
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime - over $5000
Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking (2 counts)
39-year-old Melanie Larchevesque of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and charged with;
Possession of a controlled substance for purpose of trafficking (3 counts)
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime - over $5000
Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking
Fail to comply with conditions of a probation order
Both were held in custody (bail) and are scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
