On October 4th, 2018, members of the OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Emergency Response Tea (ERT), Tactical Rescue Unit (TRU) and SD&G OPP officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Search Warrant at a property on County Road 18, South Stormont Township. This resulted in the seizure of a quantity of marijuana, hash oil, weapons (long guns), ammunition, brass knuckles and Canadian currency.
Melissa BROOKS (22 years old) of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

Possession of Proceeds of Property obtained by crime over $5000
Possession of a controlled substance for purpose of trafficking
Possession of a controlled substance
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition (2 counts)
She was released and scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on November 15th, 2018.
Brandon MELDRUM (27 years old) of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Produce a controlled substance
Possession of Proceeds of Property obtained by crime over $5000
Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of a controlled substance
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Unauthorized possession of a weapon
Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition (2 counts)
He was released and scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on November 14th, 2018.
Ralph MELDRUM (58 years old) of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a controlled substance
Possession of Proceeds of Property obtained by crime over $5000
Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of a controlled substance
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition (2 counts).
He was released and scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on November 15th, 2018.
