On Thursday, December 6th, 2018 at approximately 12:16 a.m., members of the SD&G OPP responded to a robbery at a residence on Collins Road (near Newington) in South Stormont Township.
The investigation has determined that three armed individuals, wearing disguises, broke into the residence and assaulted the two adult victims with a weapon. The suspects stole items from the house before fleeing in a vehicle.
Officers responding to the call located a vehicle a short distance away with three suspects inside. Further investigation revealed that the male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
The two victims were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and have since been released.
55-year old Dennis Gowan, 25-year-old Blake Woods and 25-year-old Clarissa Square of Cornwall, Ontario were arrested and charged with:

All three were held in custody (bail) and are scheduled to appear today at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
The investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending.
