Rideau St. Lawrence Utilities employees and contractors are working on Sir James Morris Drive in Morrisburg this morning. The work is expected to continue into the afternoon.
The local utility company has scheduled power outages for Morrisburg on Tuesday, November 6th and Thursday, November 8th, 2018 to allow safe working conditions for contractors completing tree-maintenance near overhead power lines.
Streets affected for the Tuesday and Thursday outages include: Laurier Drive, Broder Crescent, Whitney Road, Lions Road, Farlinger Avenue, Sir James Morris, Kyle Drive and Park Avenue.

In the event of rain or inclement weather, the power outages will be re-scheduled for the following days, Wednesday, November 7th, and Friday, November 9th, respectively.
