Public consultations planned for Dundas Manor license transfer

The provincial Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care is hosting public consultations regarding the transfer of the long-term license from Dundas Manor Limited to its parent company Rural Healthcare Innovations Inc. (RHI).

“This is a routine administrative change and there will be no changes in the operation of our home as a result,” explains Board Chair Bill Smirle. “It is not related to the redevelopment announcement that we are waiting to hear. It is just one of the many steps required to prepare for the future redeveloped Dundas Manor.”

RHI is a non-profit corporation that oversees the operations of Dundas Manor. It is led by a community Board of Directors.

The public consultations will take place on March 19th from 10 to 11 am at the Joel Steele Community Centre in Winchester. Anyone can attend and written comments are also welcome.

For more details, visit the Dundas Manor website at www.dundasmanor.ca.
