OPP: Warrant executed, drugs seized, stolen property recovered and wanted male arrested

On October 2nd, 2018, members of the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Tactical Rescue Unit (TRU) and SD&G OPP officers executed a Criminal Code Search Warrant at a property on Elgin-Beckstead Road, South Stormont Township. This resulted in the seizure of a quantity of marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine. Also recovered was a stolen 2015 Polaris 570 Side by Side ATV (Reported September 26th, 2018 being taken from a property on Hunter's Road, South Stormont Township).

A 27-year-old male fled the scene prior to police arrival.

On October 9th, 2018 SD&G OPP arrested and charged;

Scotty SUMMERS (27) of South Stormont Township

• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

• Possession of a controlled substance (4 counts)

• Fail to comply with conditions of a recognizance (5 counts)

He was held in custody (bail) pending an appearance in Cornwall Court.
