On Thursday, December 6th, 2018, members of the SD&G OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) officers executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant at a property on Beach Street in Winchester.
The search warrant resulted in the seizure of a quantity of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, Canadian currency, and weapons that included a baton, hatchet, knife and pellet guns.
40-year-old Christopher McRoberts of North Dundas was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of illicit cannabis (Cannabis Act)
Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose (2 counts)
Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking (2 counts)
23-year-old Randy Froats of South Dundas was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a controlled substance
Unauthorized possession of a weapon
Possession of break in instruments
Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking (2 counts)
McRoberts and Froats were held in custody (bail) and are scheduled to appear in Cornwall Court.
30-year-old Courtney Robinson of Prescott was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a controlled substance
Possession of illicit cannabis (Cannabis Act)
She was released and scheduled to appear in Morrisburg Court on January 8th, 2019.
