SD&G OPP are currently at the scene of a two vehicle collision at the intersection of County Road 20 and County Road 24 in North Glengarry Township.
OPP say a motorcycle was travelling northbound on County Road 20 at approximately 5:13 p.m. when, for reasons still under investigation, a passenger vehicle travelling southbound turned towards County Road 24 and collided with the northbound motorcycle.
The male driver (lone occupant) of the northbound motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Names being withheld pending notification of next-of-kin.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was uninjured.
SD&G OPP continue to process the scene and investigate the collision with assistance from OPP traffic collision investigators.
As the police investigation continues, a section of County Road 20 and County Road 24 remain closed to traffic in North Glengarry Township.
Emergency detour routes are in place.
