On October 5th, 2018 at approximately 1:25 p.m., an SD&G OPP officer intercepted a vehicle while conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 401 in South Dundas Township.
The stop resulted in the male driver refusing to identify himself. Further investigation revealed the male was in contravention of previous release conditions.
The male driver, Eli DIALLO (25 years old) of Montreal, Quebec was arrested and charged with:
Fail to comply with probation order (4 counts)
Fail to comply with undertaking
Personation with intent to avoid arrest, prosecution or obstruct justice
Obstruct peace officer
Speeding (Highway Traffic Act)
He was held in custody (bail) and scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
