Morrisburg is moving a little slower than normal this morning, following the first significant snowfall of the season.
All student transportation was cancelled this morning, and residents are hard at work removing snow from their driveways.
A Weather Advisory remains in effect for Morrisburg and area until this afternoon.
Periods of snow will continue for most of today, bringing the total snowfall to 10 to 15 cm across the region by this afternoon.
Motorists should be prepared for poor winter driving conditions today. This is the largest snowfall event so far this season.
Snow is expected to become light and intermittent later this afternoon or evening before coming to an end tonight.
