It's almost that time of year! The Matilda Winter Carnival is back - on a new date!
This year, the 2019 Matilda Winter Carnival will be held February 1st to 3rd and many of your favourite events are returning.
Friday, February 1st
7:00 AM
Talent Show open to residents of South Dundas age 16 and under - sponsored by The Optimist Club of South Dundas.
Saturday, February 2nd
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Car Rally & Snowmobile Rally, weather permitting). $5 per person. Sponsored by the Iroquois-Matilda Lions Club.
Chili and hot dogs will be for sale at the canteen
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Supper of ham, potatoes and baked beans. $15/person.
9:00 PM - 1:00 AM
Dance the night away with The Posse. Tickets $15/person.
Sunday, February 3rd
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Pancake breakfast. Freewill donations accepted.
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Free family fun activities and skating at the Matilda Memorial Park in Brinston.
7:00 PM
Ecumenical service sponsored by the Community Christian Reformed Church in Dixon's Corners.
All events take place at the Matilda Hall in Dixon's Corners, except the Sunday afternoon fun day happening at Matilda Memorial Park in Brinston.
