Grenville County OPP lay charges relating to North Grenville break-in

On January 26th, 2019 at approximately 2:48 p.m., Grenville County OPP officers responded to a report of a break-in at a barn on Bedell Road in North Grenville Township.


The police investigation revealed that two individuals attended the location. They entered the property and removed items from the building. A local resident, who attempted to intervene, was struck by a vehicle but did not sustain injuries.


OPP officers arrested and charged 49-year-old Kevin Flinn from Wolford, Ontario with:

  • Dangerous operation [Criminal Code Section 320.13(1)]

  • Break, enter a place [Criminal Code Section 348(1)(b)]

  • Robbery with violence [Criminal Code Section 344(1)(b)]

The male was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on March 1st, 2019.
