Get your Snowmobile license at Riverside Snowmobile Club on December 15th, 2018


Riverside Snowmobile Club will be hosting a MTO approved Driver Training Course on Saturday, December 15th, 2018.


The course will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Riverside Snowmobile Clubhouse, located at 13125 Riverside Drive in Riverside Heights—just east of Morrisburg.


Led by instructors Les Johnston and Valerie Flay, the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) Driver Training Course is designed to emphasize the safe operation of motorized snow vehicles. Course content is approved by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and upon successful completion, students will receive a Motorized Snow Vehicle Operators License.


Participants must be at least 12 years old at the time of course (birth certificate required). Students 16 years or older that hold a valid driver's license may still take the course, but will not be issued a Motorized Snow Vehicle Operators License.


Participants will:

  • Understand safe riding techniques and tips

  • Learn to prevent problems and avoid environment hazards

  • Learn Motorized Snow Vehicle Laws

  • Practical Video demonstrations

  • Gain confidence and a safety focused attitude

The course fee is $40.00, payable by cash or cheque at the time of course. Limited to 25 participants. Reserve your space by contact course instructor Les Johnston at flay56@aol.com. A confirmation will be issued.
