On Saturday, December 15th, 2018 at 1:18 p.m., North Grenville OPP officers conducted a traffic stop on County Road 43 in Kemptville. During the stop, officers noticed a container of Cannabis sitting beside the driver and front passenger seat.
26-year-old Kayla Dutfield of Nelson, BC was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for:
Drive vehicle with cannabis readily available (Cannabis Act)
People are urged to use the same basic rules as you would for carrying alcohol in the vehicle. Ensure it is out of reach from the driver and in proper sealed containers. To review all the rules, visit Ontario.ca/Cannabis.
