Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario (STEO) noted the reason for the most recent cancellation as "treacherous road conditions across the region resulting from extended periods of freezing rain, followed by rain, with dropping temperatures to come."
Yesterday, Nation Valley News reached out to STEO regarding the third consecutive snow day and bus cancellation process.
While exams were scheduled to start today at local high schools, UCDSB says they've been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 30th, 2019 unless students or parents learn otherwise from their school.
