On Friday, January 18th, 2019 at approximately 3:02 a.m., SD&G OPP officers, with the assistance of the OPP Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit, responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Circle K convenience store in Iroquois.
The police investigation indicated that one unknown suspect entered the store with a weapon and demanded cash and cigarettes. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction of the scene with a quantity of Canadian currency and tobacco products.
The suspect is described as:
White man
5'7" - 5'8"
Slim build
Wearing a black jacket with a black hoodie, covering his face with a white cloth, black pants, black shoes with three white stripes on them and blue eyes.
No injuries were reported.
The SD&G OPP Crime unit continues to investigate.

The convenience store was robbed shortly before 4 a.m. on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 and then again just after midnight on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018.

Although police are not saying if the occurrences are connected, Const. Copeland noted similarities in two of them to the Winchester Press.
In December, Circle K security manager Sean Sportun told Cornwall Newswatch the company was increasing security measures, including staff training.

Prior to the most recent string, the convenience store was robbed around 10:55 p.m. on January 13th, 2017. At that time, police were looking for a male and female suspect.
