On Saturday, January 5th, 2019 a Charity Euchre Tournament in support of Team Diabetes took place at the Morrisburg Legion.
Organized by Shelley Robertson, this event raised $2136.75 for Diabetes Research.
Shelley would like to thank all of the volunteers that helped make this event possible, Morrisburg Legion for hosting and Laura's Valu-Mart for the generous food donation.
Could this be the 1st Annual Charity Euchre Tournament? Shelley said she had a great time and would do it again.
Team Diabetes is the national activity fundraising program for Diabetes Canada. The program promotes a healthy and active lifestyle to all Canadians and raises funds for the provision of education and services, while advocating and breaking ground towards a cure for Diabetes.
Since 2000, Team Diabetes members have been leaders in the fight against Diabetes, raising much needed funds for Diabetes Canada.
