Charges laid for break-in at North Dundas landfill

WINCHESTER—On September 19th, 2018 at approximately 2:11 p.m., SD&G (Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry) OPP responded to a report of a break-in at a business (North Dundas landfill) on Boyne Road in Winchester, Ontario.


The police investigation indicated that sometime overnight culprit(s) entered the business but did not remove any items from the location.


On October 2nd, 2018 SD&G OPP officers arrested a male in connection with the break-in.


Shayne Corey Reid Hill (28) from North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with:

  • Break and Enter

  • Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking.

He was held in custody (bail) and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
