The moat of the Tower of London was adorned with 10,000 torches on Sunday, Nov. 4th, 2018 to commemorate the end of the First World War.

The torches will stay lit until November 11th, Armistice Day, and volunteers will light individual torches each day. Many of the volunteers have a family connection to the war.
