At the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019. Ben Albers of Iroquois at the age of 76. Dearly beloved husband of the late Margaret Bucking. Loving father of Rick (Carolin) of Iroquois and Joanne (Dwayne) Backes of Williamsburg. Dear Opa of Hannah, Heidi, Matthew, and Sarah. Brother-in-law to Alberta Albers of Brinston, Pat D’Costa of Brockville, Mona Albers, Sharon Bucking, of Iroquois, Corrie and Tony Byvelds of Williamsburg, Adelaide and Al Lindsay of Stittsville, Peter Blais of Munster Hamlet, Mary and Dave Coreau of Arnprior and Otto and Nancy Bucking of Prescott. Predeceased by 7 brothers, 3 sisters and by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Iroquois on Friday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place at St. Cecilia’s R.C. Church on Saturday, February 9th at 11 a.m. Donations to the Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
