On Monday, January 28th, 2019 at approximately 2:20 p.m., SD&G OPP officers responded to a reported domestic situation in South Stormont Township.
The police investigation revealed that an adult male had assaulted his common law wife.
A 50-year-old man of South Stormont was arrested and is charged with:
Assault
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on February 28th, 2019.
