On March 23rd, 2019 at approximately 7:37 AM, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of two lawn tractors being taken from a business on County Road 2 in South Dundas Township.
Investigation indicated that sometime overnight (between 12:00 AM - 2:00 AM) unknown individuals attended a business and removed a 2019 Husqvarna orange lawn tractor. Shortly thereafter, another theft occurred at the same business where a 2018 Yardworks lawn tractor, and 2 Utility Trailers (2019 Stirling 60-084- silver and black 2018 Prairie view 61-10) were removed. Further investigation revealed 6 bicycles were removed as well.
On May 15th, 2019 SD&G OPP Community Street Crime Unit members arrested a male in connection with the thefts following their investigation.
35-year-old Thomas Feese of South Dundas was arrested and is charged with;
Theft over $5000
Theft under $5000
He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
The police investigation continues.
