On Tuesday, December 25th, 2018 at approximately 9:51 p.m., SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute on King Street in Chesterville.
Police say an adult male had assaulted a female.
A 35-year-old male from Chesterville was arrested and is charged with:
1 count of Assault
1 count of Assault with a Weapon
1 count of Mischief Under $5000
3 counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
