On Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at approximately 4:27 a.m., an SD&G OPP officer intercepted an adult male during a traffic stop in South Dundas Township in contravention of previous release conditions.
The male was also in possession of methamphetamine.
26-year-old Matthew Burnside of Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with:
Fail to comply with conditions of a undertaking (2 counts)
Fail to comply with conditions of a probation order (2 counts)
Possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine)
He was held in custody (bail) pending a court appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
