On Friday, January 18th, 2019, members of the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Emergency Response Team (ERT) and SD&G OPP officers arrested two males in connection to stolen property from Ottawa, Ontario at a property on Weegar Road in South Dundas Township. This resulted in the seizure of a Mini Dump truck, a Kubota mini excavator and a trailer.
48-year-old Donald Helder of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 (4 counts)
34-year-old William Nash of South Dundas, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
Fail to comply with probation order
Both males were held in custody (bail) and scheduled to appear in Cornwall Court.
