Highway 401 now has 1 westbound lane open between Cardinal and Johnstown as cleanup continues after a 4 vehicle collision yesterday that left one person dead.
According to Grenville County OPP, a tractor trailer collided with a box truck, both travelling westbound, in a construction zone on highway 401 westbound between Cardinal and Johnstown.
All westbound lanes were closed overnight as police investigated.
At 4:23 AM, the traffic queue was approximately 1.28 KMs long.
Detours were temporarily in place at County Road 16 and Cardinal exit.
