Announcements are short messages from The Morrisburg News that you may see in your newsfeed periodically.
These messages are used to:
Communicate general information such as new agency partnerships or community-centric holidays.
Prompt you to help other members (e.g., sharing your stories and insights with your community and other members).
Why am I seeing these?
Announcements are generally broadcasted to particular members depending on the relevance of the message. On occasion, when a topic is relevant to all members, everyone using The Morrisburg News will see the announcement.
What can I do if I don't find an announcement useful?
Every announcement will have an "x" in the upper right hand corner. If you do not find an announcement particularly relevant or useful to you, simply click the "x" and this announcement will be dismissed from your newsfeed.
