Damaging winds this afternoon and evening.
Very strong southwest winds with gusts to 90 km/h will begin this afternoon in the wake of a sharp arctic cold front blasting across the region.
The damaging winds will continue this evening then will gradually start to diminish overnight.
A few local power outages are possible.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.
