On Wednesday, January 16th, 2019, members of the SD&G OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Tactical Rescue Unit (TRU) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Search Warrant at a property on Rowena Road in South Dundas Township.
The search resulted in the seizure of several weapons.
26-year-old Marc Martin of South Dundas was arrested and charged with:
Unauthorized possession of a firearm
Careless Storage of a Firearm, weapon, prohibited device and ammunition
Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to Prohibition order
Fail to comply with conditions of a Probation order (8 counts)
He was held in custody (bail) and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
