At approximately 12:13 a.m.on Friday, August 17th, 2018, an all-terrain vehicle was travelling eastbound on Broken Second Road when, for reasons still under investigation by SD&G OPP, the ATV left the roadway and rolled over into a ditch.
The 3 occupants of the ATV were ejected and taken to hospital. 2 of the occupants were transported with serious injuries, and the other by Air ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
On Sunday, October 28th, 2018, one of the passengers of the ATV, 18-year-old Jasmine Saunders of Cardinal, was pronounced deceased from injuries sustained.
