Meet your next South Dundas Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councillors

The 2018 Municipal Elections in South Dundas came to an end at 8 p.m. this evening, as voting wrapped up at the South Dundas Municipal Centre.

The Morrisburg News would like to introduce you to your next Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councillors for South Dundas:

Mayor: Steven Byvelds (2373 votes)

Deputy Mayor: Kirsten Gardner (1753 votes)

Councillors: Don Lewis (2053 votes), Lloyd Wells (2166 votes), Archie Mellan (1993 votes)

Incumbent Mayor Evonne Delegarde received 1758 votes.

Kirsten Gardner defeated veteran councillor Bill Ewing and Jim Graham for deputy-mayor.

Don Lewis and Lloyd wells are new councillors.

Archie Mellan is the only outgoing councillor to return.
