OPP seek assistance to identify male driver of stolen vehicle on Highway 401 near Iroquois

On Sunday, January 13th, 2019, at approximately 8:20 p.m., members of the Grenville County OPP responded to a traffic complaint of a possible impaired driver travelling on Highway 401 eastbound.

The vehicle was intercepted close to Iroquois. However, the driver fled on foot into the bush. Members of the OPP Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit were deployed with negative result.

Police say the vehicle was stolen from the Peel Region.

The male driver is described as having short dark brown or black hair, wearing a grey t-shirt and dark coloured pants.
