On Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 at approximately 3:42 p.m., the OPP Community Street Crime Unit with the assistance from SD&G OPP officers intercepted a vehicle on County Road 13 in North Dundas Township. The traffic stop resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected cocaine.
The male driver, 68-year-old Gerald Gravelle of South Dundas, was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime
Use of plates not in accordance with regulations (Highway Traffic Act)
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on March 5th, 2019.
