During the month of November, teams and individuals work to raise funds through "Dare to Flash a 'Stache", a local initiative to raise funds for prostate cancer research, cancer care for all, as well as to promote prostate cancer awareness.
Funds raised will be split equally between the Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) Foundation and The Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
The WDMH Foundation will use the funds to support the Cancer Care Navigator Program, helping individuals diagnosed with or affected by cancer, as they navigate their cancer journey.
At The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, the money will be used to further support prostate cancer research.
