26-year-old South Dundas man charged with impaired driving

On January 1st, 2019 at approximately 3:00 AM, SD&G OPP were conducting a RIDE Program on County Road 31/Bank Street in South Dundas Township.

When police checked a vehicle, they found an adult male driver under the influence of alcohol.

26-year-old Eric Heldens of South Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with:

• Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 plus

• Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired - alcohol or drugs

He was released and is scheduled to appear in Morrisburg Court on February 5th, 2019.
